Validating Your Volunteer Hours
A Validation Letter is not required to participate in our program. It is only necessary when you need proof of volunteer hours.
Color A Smile can provide a Validation Letter that states how many drawings we received and how many hours of volunteering you performed. We will send out your Validation Letter within 2 weeks of receiving your drawings. Please make sure all drawings are Cheerful, Colorful, and Complete. We will not give credit for any drawings that are not complete. The Validation Letter is on Color A Smile letterhead and is signed by the Director.
We will validate 10 minutes of volunteer work for each complete drawing that you send us.
1 drawing = 10 minutes 6 drawings = 60 minutes 12 drawings = 120 minutes, etc.
Color A Smile cannot fill out special forms for individual organizations. Our Validation Letter has always been sufficient to satisfy volunteer requirements at thousands of schools and organizations throughout the country. If asked for a supervisor's name, we suggest that you write: "JERRY HARRIS - DIRECTOR. / ONLINE PROJECT." We cannot return any forms that you send with your drawings.
Instructions for Validating Your Volunteer Hours
1. Fill out and submit the online Validation Form below
2. Color A Smile will automatically send you an email containing mailing instructions and a printable Validation Form
3. Open the email and print the Validation Form
4. Mail us your drawings and INCLUDE THE PRINTED VALIDATION FORM
After we check that all drawings are Cheerful, Colorful and Complete, we will email your Validation Letter. The Validation Letter states how many drawings we received and how many hours of volunteering you performed. The Validation Letter is on Color A Smile letterhead and is signed by the Director of Color A Smile. If you participate in our program again in the future, you will need to fill out a new online validation form.
Color A Smile will send out your Validation Letter within 2 weeks of receiving your drawings.
