FAQs

  1. Where are the Seasonal Theme pages?

To better serve our clients, we have eliminated the Seasonal Themed coloring pages. The issue with the Seasonal Themes, was their limited ‘Shelf Life’. The nursing homes and Meals On Wheels programs had a short window of time to give out these drawings. Our clients have asked us to only send the Nonseasonal pages so they can distribute and display them over a longer period of time. We are in the process of creating even more pages for everyone’s enjoyment. See Coloring Pages for our selection.

  2. What is Color A Smile?

Color A Smile is a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to nursing homes, hospitals, meals on wheels programs, our troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile. Every month we mail thousands of new drawings to the recipients on our mailing list. Since 1990, Color A Smile has given out millions of cheerful drawings. That’s a lot of smiles! See Our Story for more information.

  3. How did Color A Smile get started?

Color A Smile was started by Jerry and Susanne Harris. While visiting a friend’s house they noticed the colorful drawings on the refrigerator. They realized how simple and yet uplifting a child’s cheerful drawings could be. Color A Smile began in Morristown, NJ with a few local teachers getting their students to color for people in a local nursing home. Color a Smile currently receives cheerful drawings from all across the country. We distribute tens of thousands of drawings every month to senior citizens, our troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile. See Our Story for more information.
