What is Color A Smile?
Color A Smile is a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to Senior Citizens, Our Troops Overseas, and anyone in need of a smile. Every month we mail thousands of new drawings to all the people on our mailing list. School children, adults, scouting troops, corporations, ANYONE of ANY AGE, can volunteer and help us to spread smiles.

How did Color A Smile get started?
Color A Smile was started by Jerry and Susanne Harris in the late 1980’s. While visiting a friend’s house they noticed the colorful drawings on the refrigerator. They realized how simple and yet uplifting cheerful drawings could be. Color A Smile began in Morristown NJ with a few local teachers getting their students to color for people in a local nursing home. We now distribute tens of thousands of cheerful drawings every month to senior citizens, our troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile.

Where do I find the Seasonal Holiday pages?
To better serve our clients, we have eliminated the Seasonal Themed coloring pages. The issue with the Seasonal Themes, was their limited ‘Shelf Life’. The nursing homes and Meals On Wheels programs had a short window of time to give out these drawings. After the holiday, the drawings were old and could not stay out on display. Our clients have asked us to only send the Nonseasonal pages so they can distribute and display them over a longer period of time. We are in the process of creating even more Nonseasonal pages for everyone’s enjoyment. Thank you all for continuing to help us to spread smiles.
